It has a face just like a human, with grey eyes, the color of blood and the body of a lion. The tail stabs with the sting of a scorpion,\u00a0and with a voice hissing such that it imitates the little measure of shephard&#8221;s pipes and trumpets and singers. It most greedily desires human flesh. This it is swift in its course just as a bird in flight.
